After crocheting some vintage coasters I made these vintage potholders.
I think they hung in every kitchen at the 50's ;-)
I was digging in some baskets with UFO's and found this project. A blue and white quilt. Inspired by Kathie's blue and white quilt I decided to work on mine again. I will show you soon my progress.
Have a nice day.

I can't believe I am the first to comment. Hi Lucy! Love your potholders and coasters. Your blue and white project looks very nice. Have a lovely day.
Oohh... love, love, love, love, LOVE! ;o)
The potholders go well with your kitchen! I remember having to make them during the needlework lessons at school as a child. Love blue and white quilts! Am saving up and looking for fabrics to make one myself at the moment, but it will be totally different than Kathie's. Can't wait to see more of yours, enjoy!
Leuk die ouderwetse pannenlapen.
Maar het blauw met wit op tafel is veel interessanter voor mij althans.
Blauw is tenslotte mijn kleur.
Groetjes,
Marga♥
Beautiful, gorgeous crochet and photos. I'm sure your blue and white is going to be charming.
Good morning from Texas!!! Love those potholders!! And the towel rack!!! Days of the week? I too love blue & white quilts and yours will be lovely!! Those little "bird" blocks are some of my favorite!
Blessings
Love these coasters.
Funny: I've used the same creme and red cotton you nicely offered me to make a similar project.
Sunny hugs.
Lovely!!
Leuke en zeer herkenbare pannenlappen. Ik ben nieuwsgierig naar je blauw/ witte quilt!
Succes en groetjes, Evelyne
Hi, Lucy ... I used to use the blog name Cootie Bug and have read your blog for a long, long time, but I no longer write on that blog and have a newer one. Anyway, I wanted to comment how much I like the crochet photos. I enjoy crochet too, as I do quilting. :)
Liefs, Ria.
This was a walk down memory lane.
